Bismarck, ND – The Minotauros have gone 7-1-1 over their last nine games, the Bismarck Bobcats have gone 7-2-0; the two will take the ice tonight with first place in the Central Division on the line at the VFW Sports Center in Bismarck.  Tonight marks the tenth of twelve meetings this season, the Bobcats lead the season series five games to four. 

The Bobcats have turned from a slow start to the season to become one of the top teams in the NAHL.  Their success has led to Head Coach Layne Sedevie receiving a three year contract extension.  On the ice the Bobcats have five players with over 30 points on the season lead by Aaron Herdt (16g 23a) who has 39 points on the season.  Jared Pike (14g 12a) leads the Bobcats against the Tauros with seven goals through the first nine meetings in the season series.  In net Hunter Shepard (24-8-0) continues to receive the lion’s share of the work in the Bobcat net.    

For the Tauros over the last five games Troy Degler (5g 12a) and Max Reisinger (8g 19a) have found excellent chemistry on a line together with seven points each.  Christian Mohs (13g 21a) continues to lead the Tauros in scoring with six goals and five assists in the last 10 games.  Matt Jennings (8g 17a) hopefully will debut for the Tauros this weekend either Friday night in Bismarck or Saturday in Aberdeen.  In net Gunner Rivers (9-8-2) has played three of the Tauros four games since being acquired from Odessa allowing just five goals on 86 shots.
