Minot, ND – The Minotauros extended their lead on the Central Division with a win over the hated Bismarck Bobcats in front of a packed crowd at the Maysa Arena.  The rare Tuesday night game drew 1,123 fans to the Maysa and the Tauros sent them home happy with a 2-1 win.

Tyler Jeanson opened the scoring for the Tauros more than halfway through the game.  At 10:24 of the second Jeanson beat goaltender Hunter Shepard from in close off of a feed from Johnny WalkerAustin Martinsen was credited with the secondary assist.  Sam Fuss doubled the Tauros lead when he ripped a shot from the point off of the crossbar and in at 8:48 of the third.  The score would remain 2-0 for less than a minute however after a long bounce off the end boards came back in front to Solag Bakich who ended Lucas Murray’s shutout bid at 9:39 of the final frame.  The 2-1 score held for the final with Murray stopping 22 of 23 to get the win for the Tauros.
