Minot, ND – Since the Minotauros won their home opener against Austin they have spent 21 days away from Minot and racked up a 3-1-1 record on a swing through Alaska and South Dakota.  Now just two points behind the division leading Bruins the two teams meet again in the Magic City for the Tauros second home game of the season.  The Tauros won the first meeting in convincing fashion 4-0, and another win would vault the Tauros into first place.

The return home for the Tauros will not be an easy one not only facing the first place Bruins but also having returned to Minot in the wee hours of the morning from a hard fought 4-3 win in Aberdeen.  Last night the Tauros got two goals from Quinn Fuchs, Chase Springman, Jared Brandt, and Alexander Kasitsyn; Tanner Holmes made 23 saves while improving his record to 2-0-0.  The Tauros are rolling right now going 6-1-1 since dropping the first two games of the season, scoring 3.5 goals per game while surrendering just 1.875 in that run.

The Bruins have gone 2-1-3 since leaving the Maysa, suffering their only other regulation loss last night in Bismarck in a 3-0 affair.  In net Zach Driscoll and Jake Kielly have split time with Driscoll out playing Kielly; Kielly got the start last night in Bismarck.  Brian Bachnak and Trevor Boyd are tied atop the team scoring chart with nine points each.
