Bismarck, ND – Winners of their last six games the Minotauros had been the hottest team in the NAHL.  An ugly game against the Bismarck Bobcats put an end to the win streak and kept the Tauros from reaching the .500 mark.

The Bobcats jumped out to an early lead when Adam Knochenmus redirected a Patrick Moore pass up and over Tyler Parks at 5:08 of the first.  Then in the second Levi Blom and Shane Omdahl took penalties on the same play giving the Tauros a full 2:00 of 5-on-3 powerplay.  Jadin Martin put home a rebound of a Mason Morelli shot but the referee had blown the whistle after having lost sight of the puck.  Then early in the third with the Tauros down a man Mike Dockry scored on the rush to double the Bobcat lead.  With Parks off for the extra attacker Knochenmus was able to hit the empty net to seal the victory for the Bobcats.

Next Up: The Tauros head to Aberdeen to take on the Wings.  Aberdeen is 3-6-1 over their last 10 games.  Justin Parizek and Peter Krieger lead the way for the Wings with 22 and 21 points respectively.  Marcus Zelzer has had the lion’s share of the work in net and is 6-10-0 on the year with a .901 sv% for a 3.44 GAA.  Tim Donohue has the most points of any Tauro against the Wings with six, but is still out injured.  Lucas Oliver’s four points are the next best against the Wings for the Tauros. The Wings took the first two meetings of the season, but the Tauros won the most recent meeting on October 19th 4-2.

Watch the Game: There will be a Road Watch Party at Buffalo Wings and Rings starting at 6:30 p.m., come watch the game with Tauros fans and enjoy all you can eat/drink wings and soda/beer.
