As the season approaches we will be giving you a chance to meet the new Tauros as well as learn a little more about the returning players by asking them 20 questions.  We will be going in number order; yesterday we met Troy Degler and today we hear from Chase Di Bari. Come back tomorrowto hear from Steven Mather.  For links to all of the past Tauros 20 Questions look to the bottom of this page.

Chase Di Bari comes to the Tauros out of the Tier 1 Elite League where last season as a 17 year old he posted four goals and nine assists in 24 games for the U18 Los Angeles Jr. Kings.  A native of Ladera Ranch, CA; Di Bari continues the Tauro tradition of having at least one California native on the roster in every season of the team’s existence.

At 5’8” 141 lbs Di Bari is similar in stature to yesterday’s Tauros 20 Questions subject Troy Degler.  With speed to burn the duo could work well together too, if he can finish the chances Degler creates the pair could be deadly in transition.

From the Coach’s Office: Our head scout, Chris Lonke first saw Chase while out scouting this spring.  Chase was a virtual unknown heading into main camp, but turned heads all weekend long.  We are a team that wants to be able to skate and play with pace, and Chase brings a tremendous amount of speed to our lineup.  He also displayed a consistent scoring touch all main camp long. – Head Coach Marty Murray
