As the season approaches we will be giving you a chance to meet the new Tauros as well as learn a little more about the returning players by asking them 20 questions. We will be going in number order. Yesterday we heard from Cam McClure and today we hear from Sam Fuss. Come back tomorrow to hear from Lucas Murray. Sam Fuss comes to Minot after playing for Edina High School in Minnesota. At 5’9” and 180 lbs. Fuss will be the smallest member of the Tauros defense corps. Fuss plays bigger than his size however as he already has shown a willingness to battle in the tough areas in preseason. Last season for Edina, Fuss posted five goals and 10 assists in 25 games. With only seven defenseman in Minot to start the season, Fuss, a 1997 birth year will have to jump right in. So far he has shown that he can.
From the Coach’s Office: Sam came in with big expectations and he has not disappointed. He played in all four pre season games and looked like a seasoned vet. Sam does everything well, and is a shot blocking machine. Even though it's his fist season with us, it's easy to see he's a natural leader. – Head Coach Marty Murray
