It was another strong weekend for Tauros alum at all levels. A full list of Tauros Alumni stats are below, but first some highlights. At the NCAA DI level Mason Morelli had his first college goal for UNO as they beat St. Cloud 7-2 on Saturday night. Merrick Madsen picked up his fourth shutout of the season in Harvard’s 0-0 tie with Rensselaer. Atte Tolvanen went 1-0-1 making 76 saves for Northern Michigan against Alabama – Huntsville.
At the NCAA DIII level Jerry Laakso had a goal and three assists as Umass-Dartmouth topped Framingham State on Saturday. Jake Howie had two more goals giving him six for Matian University who split with St. Scholastica on Friday and Saturday nights.
In the USHL Blake Lizotte scored for Fargo in their win over Madison on Saturday night. John Snodgrass had three assists on the weekend for Cedar Rapids who beat Green Bay and Sioux Falls. This Friday night Snodgrass will see former Tauro teammate and current Tauro leading scorer Johnny Walker who is playing for the Chicago Steel this weekend. Walker is there for a planned three game stint and will return to Minot on Sunday regardless of his performance.
