Bismarck, ND – The Minotauros kick off a rare three game weekend tonight in Bismarck as the Bobcats will look to avenge last Saturday’s Tauros 4-1 win in Minot.  The Tauros have been surging of late with a record of 4-2-0 over the last six games, and will receive a boost with the return of Seth Blair from Green Bay of the USHL.  Blair has posted 27 points in 63 games played over two seasons in the NAHL, including 14 points in 23 games for the Tauros.  For those who do not remember at 6’3” 215lbs. Blair from last season he will also add size to the Tauros’ line-up.

The Bobcats are lead offensively by Patrick Moore who has 23 points (7g, 16a) on the season.  Shane Omdahl’s 11 goals are tops on the Cats.  Mike Dockry had Bismarck’s loan goal in the Tauros’ 4-1 win last Saturday.  In net Aaron Nelson and Bryan Nies have split time.  Nelson has the better numbers (6-2-1, 2.07 GAA, .922 SV%) but he struggled against the Tauros allowing all four goals (plus two which were disallowed after he knocked the net free) on 34 shots.

Jadin Martin has been hot of late for the Tauros including a goal and two assists last Saturday night against the Bobcats.  His 14 points (3g, 11a) is second best on the team behind Jake O’Borsky’s 15 (5g, 10a).  Also playing well of later are Wes Iverson and Steven Sherman who each have four points over the last five games.  The Tauros attack has been fairly balanced with 19 players recording at least one goal so far this year.  In net Tyler Parks has carried the load since his return and played extremely well of late.  Parks has a .913 SV% over the last five games to earn a 3-2-0 record.

Player to Watch: Paul Sorenson, has been a steady force on the back end since his arrival.  In 10 games he is +2 with one assist.
