Tauro fans, we appreciate your patience as we plan and prepare to deal with the complications created by the cancelation of our season as the sporting world takes precautions to protect players and fans from the outbreak of COVID-19. As you can imagine this is an unprecedented situation and we did not have policies in place for such an event. Since news broke last week that this was a possibility our staff has been working diligently to make sure that we take care of our fans while also dealing with the realities of our business being effectively shut down.
To that end, below are our policies regarding ticket holders for the games that were not played due to the league canceling the remainder of the 2019-20 season. Additionally, we do not intend to raise ticket prices for next season.
Individual Game Ticket Holders: 2 flex tickets in their online account per ticket purchased and one $10 voucher for the Tauros merchandise store per ticket account.
Paid Season Tickets Holders: 6 additional flex tickets per season ticket account plus a $10 voucher per seat will be placed in their online account.
Sponsor Season Tickets Holders: Your Minotauros account representative will work with you on an individual basis.
Sponsor Flex Ticket Holders: Unused sponsor Flex Tickets from the 2019-20 season will be accepted at the box office for the first six home games of the 2020-21 season.
As part of this you may notice that flex tickets for individual game and season ticket holders will now be redeemable online, that will be the case for all Season Ticket Holder Flex tickets next season. The now 16 flex tickets will appear as vouchers in your season ticket online account. This will allow you to redeem them for seats near yours on an as needed basis without having to come to the box office. Additionally, $10 vouchers for the Tauros merchandise store will be sent through our ticketing system as well to either be printed out or placed in your smartphone like a ticket and eventually scanned upon redemption at our merchandise store. For season ticket holders who receive multiple $10 merchandise vouchers they will be stackable or able to be used on the same purchase.
These flex tickets and vouchers will be placed in your account as soon as possible, we are working with Igniter (our ticketing company) on implementation daily though it is not as simple as a couple of clicks. Season ticket renewals we also begin as soon as possible. We will contact season ticket holders again as soon as renewals are live with information including a deadline for when unrenewed seats will be released.
