Minot, ND – The Minot Minotauros will open their sixth season at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN, on September 21st against the Kenai River Brown Bears but that will not be your first chance to get a look at the team.  There will be six chances for you to see the Tauros in action before the puck drops for real at the Showcase.

The first chance will be a free practice/scrimmage open to fans on Sunday September 4th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the West Rink of the Maysa Arena.  Then the Tauros will have a run of three preseason games in five days starting with hosting the Bismarck Bobcats on the West Rink September 6th, at 7:05.  Tickets will be $5.00 at the door.  The next night the Tauros will head down 83 to play the Bobcats in Bismarck at 7:15 p.m.  September 10th, the Tauros will head north of the 49th parallel to play the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL with a 6:30 p.m. puck drop.

Then Tauros will close out the preseason with a home-and-home set with the Fargo Force on September 16th and 17th.  The Tauros will play in Fargo at 3:00 p.m. on the 16th and then host the Force at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.  The teams will play two, 50 minute run time halves, the scrimmage in Minot will only be open to Minotauros Season Ticket Holders and will be free to attend.  Season tickets are on sale now by clicking on the “Tickets” tab atop this page.
