Bismarck, ND – The Minotauros continued their strong play of late improving to 8-1-1 over their last ten games behind a 3-1 win in Bismarck.  The victory moved the Tauros into first place in the NAHL Central Division.  The Tauros now head to Aberdeen for their fifth meeting with the Wings in a three week span, the Tauros are 3-0-1 through the first four.

The Bobcats opened the scoring just over five minutes into the first when Jared Pike (15g 12a) tipped a shot just in front of Tauros keeper Gunner Rivers for his 15th goal of the season (highlight).  Tyler Jeanson (8g 19a) drew the Tauros even just over a minute into the second when Christian Mohs (13g 22a) found him all alone next to the Bobcat net (highlight).  The Tauros earned four power plays in a row including a five minute major when Solag Bakich (3g 7a) took a run at Derek Frentz (11g 14a) and hit him high at the start of the third (highlight). James LaDouce was finally able to cash in to give the Tauros a 2-1 lead with 10:34 to play (highlight).  Jeanson hit the empty net (highlight) to secure a 3-1 win for the Tauros. 

Next up the Tauros take on the Aberdeen Wings.  Through the first ten meetings on the season the Tauros are 7-2-1 against the Wings this year and have outscored them 31-20.  With five goals and three assists against the Wings Frentz leads all scorers in the series; Mohs and Zack Bross (8g 14a) also have eight points against the Wings on three goals and five helpers.  Carter Roo (5g 16a) leads the Wings with two goals and four assists against the Tauros and Tucker DeYoung (10g 17a) has a half-dozen helpers.  Puck drop Saturday night is at 7:15, with the Planet Pizza Pregame Show starting at 7:00 on fasthockey.com and prostyleproduction.com.
