Dakota Property Management Alumni Report 10-21-21

Minot, ND – The Minotauros had several NCAA DI players find their way onto scoresheets this weekend, let’s take a look at some of the top performing Dakota Property Management Tauro alum! Then come check out the current Tauros at home this weekend against the Austin Bruins!

Professional

Blake Lizotte (LA Kings, NHL) has played in all three of the Kings’ contests this season but has yet to register a point.  For his career Lizotte now has 110 games played with 33 points, all for the Kings.

Jon Lizotte (Iowa Wild, AHL) had an assist and was +1 in the Wild’s season opening win over Texas but was held off the scoresheet the next night as the Wild picked up their first loss of the season.  The former Tauro captain should play his 100th career AHL game on Halloween against the Manitoba Moose.

Jared Brandt (Reading Royals, ECHL) speaking of former Tauro captains, Brandt has wrapped up his career at Niagara (NCAA DI) and is in camp with the ECHL’s Reading Royals.  In four seasons in college between Miami (OH) and Niagara Brandt played 115 games posting 14 goals and 23 assists.

Tyler Jeanson (Wichita Thunder, ECHL) like Brandt Jeanson has finished his NCAA DI career and moved on to the professional ranks.  Jeanson played 114 games posting 10 goals and 19 assists for Colgate before signing with Wichita this summer.

Nate Pionk (South Carolina Stingrays, ECHL) moves on after completing his NCAA DIII career at St. Scholastica where he was the Saints captain the last two seasons.  In 82 games for the Saints Pionk posted 64 points.

College

Johnny Walker (Arizona State, NCAA DI) had a goal for the second weekend in a row helping the Sun Devils sweep New Hampshire.  Walker now has two goals and an assist through six games this season.

Grant Loven (St. Thomas, NCAA DI) had two goals on Saturday night including one shorthanded but the Tommies still fell to Lake State 6-3.

Miroslav Mucha (Lake State, NCAA DI) Miro also had a shorthanded goal in the St. Thomas/Lake State game from Saturday night, he also added an assist on the power play.

Nicholas Grabko (Bentley, NCAA DI) helped Bentley upset seventh ranked Boston College stopping 38 of 40 on Saturday night.

Wilmer Skoog (Boston University, NCAA DI) had a two point weekend in BU’s split with Sacred Heart posting an assist in Friday’s loss and a goal in Saturday’s win.

Alex Adams (Bemidji State, NCAA DI) had an assist and was +2 in Bemidji’s overtime upset of UND on Saturday night.

Blaine Warnert (St. Thomas, NCAA DI) had his first college goal on Friday night but St. Thomas fell to Lake State 3-1.
