Dakota Property Management Alumni Report 10-6-21

Minot, ND – Just like the current crop of Tauros, several Tauros alumni have seen their seasons start at the college and pro level. Today we take a spin around the hockey world and look at how Dakota Property Management Tauros Alum have fared.

Jon Lizotte (Minnesota Wild, NHL) – Lizotte picked up an assist (watch) for the Wild in their 6-4 loss to the Colorado Avalanche.

Nicholas Grabko (Bently, NCAA DI) – Grabko was named the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week for the opening week of the season.

Nolan Sawchuk (St. Thomas, NCAA DI) – There are seven former Tauros on the Tommies but it was Nolan Sawchuk who transferred from UMass-Lowell that was named an Assistant Captain along with Luke Manning who played one game as an Affiliate Player for the Tauros.  Other Tauros on St. Thomas include Matt Jennings, Andrew Kangas, Justin Kelley, Grant Loven, and Blaine Warnert.

Reid Stefanson (UMass-Lowell, NCAA DI) – Sawchuk’s former team kicked off their regular season with a split with Arizona State.  Stefanson had a shorthanded goal for Lowell in their loss to ASU on Saturday.

Lastly, Ben Garrity (Wisconsin, NCAA DI) and Kyler Kleven (Minnesota-Duluth, NCAA DI) reunited during their schools’ exhibition matchup in Chippewa Falls, WI.
