Minot, ND – Dakota Property Management brings you this look at how Tauros Alum are faring as they progress through their hockey careers.  Last week we updated you on where everyone stood through what has been an unusual start to the hockey season, this week we take a look at players who have stood out over the last week.

Professional

Jon Lizotte posted an assist in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s 5-4 win over the Syracuse Crunch in AHL action this weekend.  It was his second assist in three games so far on the young AHL season. Mason Morelli has rejoined the AHL’s Hersey Bears after a loan to the ECHL’s South Carolina Stingrays after posting nine points in 11 games for South Carolina.  In the SPHL Darren McCormick picked up two goals in Pensacola’s 4-3 win on Saturday and Casey Johnson had an assist in Macon’s 3-2 OT win on Sunday. In Sweden Isak Dahlin picked up two assists in Nykopings SK’s 402 win on Friday.

College

Johnny Walker had two assists in Arizona State’s 3-2 win at Michigan State on Sunday, then dropped by the On The Pond podcast to talk about his career including his time in Minot.  Wilmer Skoog had a goal in Boston University’s 5-1 win on Saturday at Vermont.  Miroslav Mucha (Lake State), Reid Stefanson (UMass-Lowell), Jake Rosenbaum (Minnesota-Duluth), Ondrej Pavel (MSU-Mankato), Jared Brandt (Niagara), and Colby Enns (Northern Michigan) all had assists over the weekend.

At the NCAA DIII level Grant Loven posted a goal and an assist in his debut for the University of St. Thomas which will be joining the NCAA DI level next season.  From last year’s Tauros team Kevin Ness and Cole O’Connell both made the debuts for Concordia College.
