Minot, ND – The Minotauros 2017-2018 schedule was released today by the North American Hockey League.  The Minotauros seventh season will begin September 20, 2017 in Blaine, MN, at the 2017 NAHL Showcase with four games in as many days.  The Minotauros were 2016 NAHL Showcase Champions going 4-0-0 at the event with victories over the Kenai River Brown Bears, Lone Star Brahmas, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, and the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.   The Tauros opponents for the 2017 NAHL Showcase have yet to be announced.

After the 2017 NAHL Showcase the Minotauros will have a weekend off prior to their home opener on Friday October 6^th, against the Kenai River Brown Bears.  Both Alaska teams make appearances at the MAYSA this season, and in turn the Tauros will head to Alaska in November for two games each against the Bears and the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.

Other notable dates on the Minotauros schedule include the Bismarck Bobcats first appearance on October 19^th, the Tauros first trip to Aberdeen (where their season ended last year) on October 13^th, and the traditional Tauros/Bobcats game in Bismarck on New Year’s Eve.  Longtime rival the Austin Bruins visit on January 19^th and 20^th as well as March 16^th and 17^th. The Minotauros close the regular season at home April 6^th and 7^th against the Aberdeen Wings.
