The Tauros will be looking to break the script as they take on the Aberdeen Wings tonight at the Maysa Arena.  In a home and home series last weekend the Wings used pair of big second periods to open up 5-2 leads.  While the Tauros were unable to mount much of a comeback on Friday, they did push the Wings on Saturday night before falling 5-4.

The Wings were lead by Justin Parizek and Patrick Steinhauser who each posted four points last weekend.  Marcus Zelzer backstopped both victories in net for the Wings stopping 67 of the 74 shots the Tauros threw his way.

The Tauros offense was lead by the captain Tim Donohue who posted a pair of goals and an assist last weekend.  Mason Morelli and Tauros’ leading scorer Lucas Oliver each had three points last weekend and helped key Saturday’s third period comeback effort as each scored a goal in the period.

The Number: 19, over the two games last weekend the Tauros outshot the Wings 74-55 for a 19 shot advantage.  Should that trend continue the Tauros should start picking up wins.
