Minotauros Tender Martinsen

The Minot Minotauros have signed another player to join the tender class of 2015-16. Austin Martinsen is the most recent player the Tauros have signed, joining Sam Gilmore and Colton Berg.

Martinsen, a product of Farmington, MN where he is currently playing for Farmington High School has 5 goals and 12 points in seven games played. Martinsen and Berg both played for the Minnesota Blades during the Fall Season and will once again become teammates in the spring with the Blades. Martinsen is a forward that stands at five-foot eleven and weighs 175 pounds and known for his offensive skill set. “Austin brings a combination of size and skill to the Tauros and we believe he can step in next season and have an immediate impact for our team” commented Head Coach and General Manager Marty Murray.  Martinsen is excited for the future with the Minotauros, “I’m very excited and honored for this opportunity and being able to continue my dream after high school with the Minot Minotauros. I am looking forward to doing everything I can to develop as a hockey player along the way” said Martinsen.

The Tender Class for 2015-2016 continues to grow as the season moves forward.
