Minot, ND – The Minot Minotauros have reported to training camp and hit the ice this morning for the first time as a team. There are several position battles ahead as the North American Hockey League has returned to a pre-Covid 23 man roster this season.
Original preseason plans with Canadian teams had to be scrapped with the border remaining closed. The Tauros will instead hold an intersquad scrimmage open to the public on Saturday September 4th, at 7:30 p.m. The intersquad scrimmage will be free to the public.
Then on September 10th the Minotauros will head to Dickinson, ND, to take on the Bismarck Bobcats at in the inaugural Duel in Dickinson. The next night the rivalry moves north to Watford City for the third annual War in Watford. The two games against the Cats will wrap up the Tauros exhibition season prior to the NAHL Showcase. Ken Oda will be on the call on Mixlr and GoTauros.com/listenlive for both games, but arena limitation will prevent either game from being on HockeyTV.
