St. Cloud, MN – The Minotauros kick-off a busy weekend in St. Cloud with a single game against the Norsemen tonight.  A win would not only pull the Tauros even on the season series with the Norsemen, it would also push the Tauros within two wins of clinching a playoff spot.

Tyler Kostelecky has paced the Tauros against the Norsemen with eight points on two goals and six helpers.  Despite only playing two games against the Norsemen this season Kyle Kukkonen has two goals and four assists against the Norsemen.  Logan Anderson and Brett Roloson have been clicking of late each with four points in the last five games; Anderson on two goals and two assists, Roloson on a goal and three helpers.

For the Norsemen Brett Chorske has led the way against the Tauros and everyone else with 12 of his team leading 42 points coming against Minot.  Reigning Bauer Hockey Central Division Star of the Week Ryan O’Neill is second also against both the Tauros and overall with seven of his 32 points coming in nine games against the Tauros.

The game against St. Cloud kicks off a stretch of three games in three nights with the Tauros heading to Austin to take on the Bruins on Friday and Saturday night.  If the Tauros win all three games on the weekend they will clinch a spot in the playoffs for the eight consecutive post season, the second longest streak in the NAHL.

Tonight’s game will be on HockeyTV.com, Mixlr, Facebook, and GoTauros.com.  The Farmers Union Insurance Pregame Show will start at 6:45 for 7:00 puck drop.
