Minot, ND – In a pair of roster moves today the Minot Minotauros have traded veteran forward Austin Koss to the Janesville Jets and have added defenseman Nicolas Petruolo from the USHL’s Fargo Force.

Koss who was in his third season as a Tauro has 18 career points in 93 career regular season and playoff games as a Tauro.  In return for Koss the Tauros will receive a conditional draft pick from the Jets.  Tauros Head Coach and General Manager said of Koss, “he’s a great kid and was really good for us in the community.  The move to Janesville gives him a chance at a bigger role and we wish him well going forward.”

Petruolo joins the Tauros after starting the preseason with Fargo.  The Tauros hold Petruolo’s rights as he was their second-round draft choice in last June’s draft.  The 18 year-old defenseman is already committed to play NCAA DI hockey for Union College.

The two moves keep the Tauros roster at 26 players, they have to be down to 23 by October 1st.  For all Tauros news follow the Tauros on social media (Facebook, Twitter) and stay tuned to GoTauros.com.
