Minot, ND – With just 52 days until hockey players from around the globe converge in Minot for the starting of training camp the Minotauros now know the path their ninth season will take as the North American Hockey League announced the 2019-20 schedule today.  The Tauros will again play 60 games starting with the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN, September 18-21 and ending with a home set against the Minnesota Wilderness April 3-4.  The Tauros full schedule is at the bottom of this page or click here to download a printable schedule.

The Minotauros will open the season with three weekends on the road to Minnesota starting with the Showcase.  From there they will head to St. Cloud to be the first opponent for the Blizzard in their new home after they left Brookings this summer.  Then the next week the Tauros head to Cloquet to take on the Wilderness.  Finally after that the Tauros will return home to the Pepsi Rink at Maysa Arena to host the Aberdeen Wings on October 11-12.

Other big dates include the annual Minotauros Booster Club Trunk-or-Treat Halloween tailgate party on Saturday October 26th before the Tauros host the Austin Bruins.  Military Appreciation Night on Veterans’ Day November 11th when the Tauros host the Aberdeen Wings.  Pack the Pepsi Night on Black Friday November 29th.  The Teddy Bear Toss on December 7th when the Tauros host the Bismarck Bobcats.  The Tauros then host the Cats again on December 28th for the annual Christmas party night.  Superhero night will be February 29th with the Aberdeen Wings in town.  Also the last Saturday home game of every month will be a Skate with the Tauros night.  Stay tuned to GoTauros.com for news and more promotions as the season gets closer.

Another quirk of the schedule this season is the that Tauros have two weekends off this year as they do not play November 22-23 or February 21-22.

How the Tauros perform in the regular season will determine if they qualify for the Robertson Cup Playoffs for the eighth season in a row, the second longest active streak behind only the Fairbanks Ice Dogs who have qualified for 16 consecutive years.

Season tickets for the 2019-20 season are available now under the Tickets tab atop this page or by clicking here.  Individual game tickets will go on sale August 1st, at noon.  This season the Tauros are debuting their first flexible family pack, with upper limit on the size of the family.  Family packs start at $800 for a family of four and increase by just $100 per person.
