As the season approaches we will be giving you a chance to meet the new Tauros as well as learn a little more about the returning players by asking them 20 questions. We will be going in number order; yesterday we met Jack Murphy and today we hear from Grayson Gavin. Come back tomorrow to hear from Troy Degler. Tauros sixth round draft pick Grayson Gavin took a different route than most to get to the NAHL. Prior to his monster year for Mankato East High School last season Gavin spent the 2013/14 season in Finland playing junior B. playing for GrIFK where he posted 10 goals and 12 assists as a 16 year old. He then returned stateside and had 43 goals and 28 assists in 25 games for Mankato East last year. Gavin is another big forward at 6’2” 185 lbs. who can play center. A 1997 birth year Gavin has three seasons of eligibility remaining
From the Coach’s Office: Grayson your prototypical power forward with a nice set of hands around the net. He is not afraid to play in the high traffic areas and can make plays in tight. We expect Grayson to be a leader on the forecheck and be a thorn in the side of the opposition. – Head Coach Marty Murray
