Tauros 20 Questions: #22 Quinn Fuchs

Sep 9, 2015

As the season approaches we will be giving you a chance to meet the new Tauros as well as learn a little more about the returning players by asking them 20 questions.  We will be going in number order; Monday we met Colton Berg and today we hear from Quinn Fuchs. Come back tomorrow to hear from Chase Springman.  For links to all of the past Tauros 20 Questions look to the bottom of this page.

Local product Quinn Fuchs enters his second year for the Tauros.  Making the transition from high school hockey to junior last year Fuchs posted four goals and nine assists in 46 games while posting a +2 rating.  While his stats do not jump off the page, Fuchs was a solid contributor last year.  A dependable forward Fuchs consistently made good decisions on the ice.  He also showed flashes of the offensive ability that made him Minot High’s second all time leading scorer, like his highlight reel set up of a Colton Kramer goal in Bismarck. Plays like that and his game winning goal against Bismarck in an exhibition game last Saturday have the coaching staff and fans expecting a big season from Fuchs.

From the Coach’s Office: I think Quinn is due for a breakout season. He really come along at the end of the season and he's a player with great hockey sense. Quinn put some hard work into his summer training, and it seems to be paying dividends so far in training camp. Every year you look for players to dramatically increase their stats, and I think Quinn could be a guy to fall under that category this season. – Head Coach Marty Murray
