Zwiener comes to Minot with some NAHL experience playing 24 games for the Coulee Region Chill last season and posting 2 goals and 7 assists. He then finished the season in the NA3HL with the Granite City Lumberjacks where he posted 6 goals and 8 assists in just 12 games. While a member of the Lumberjacks Zwiener signed a tender with the Tauros. Prior to starting his junior career Zwiener posted 54 goals and 73 assists in 96 games for Sartell-St. Stephen High School in Minnesota.
From the Coaches’ Office: Spencer had 20+ games in our league last season and I think that reflects in his confidence thus far in training camp. He’s a very good skater, decent size, and has very good offensive instincts. He was very noticeable in our scrimmage yesterday and I’m excited to see what this season brings for him. – Marty Murray
