Tauros Support the Expansion

Oct 8, 2015

Minot, ND – The Minot Minotauros are proud to continue supporting the Maysa Expansion.  The team’s efforts have been on going, investing over $100,000.00 in improvements to the Maysa.  The team has also held events such as the Expansion Kickoff Skills Competition event and a youth hockey skills camp; the full proceeds from these events were donated directly to the Maysa Expansion.

Now the Tauros are asking their fans to help support the expansion of the facility which is home to the Minot youth hockey community (both the Minot Hockey Boosters and Minot Oilers), Magic City Figureskating Club, Minot High boys and girls hockey teams, Minot State boys and girls hockey teams, and of course the Tauros.  The Tauros will add an optional $1.00 fee on adult tickets for the 2015-16 season, 100% of which will go to the Maysa Expansion.  All discounted ticket types will remain at the same price (this includes full season, 10 game flex, military, senior, student, and child tickets).  Fans who purchase their tickets online will have the choice of a regular “Adult” ticket priced at the usual $12.00 or a “Maysa Ex. Adult” ticket which will cost $13.00.  Fans who purchase “Adult” tickets at the Maysa Arena will only be able to purchase the $13.00 ticket.

Even with the $1.00 optional increase the Tauros average ticket price of $9.67 remains the lowest in the Central Division (everyone else falls between $10.00 and $13.50).  The Tauros also have the highest age for free admission allowing children five and under in for free.  Also with the construction already underway the Maysa has fewer parking spaces than in the past.  Please carpool when possible when attending Minotauros games this season.  Tickets for this weekend’s opening series are available now under the “Tickets” tab at minotauroshockey.com.
