Tauros Tender Witham

Dec 21, 2022

Minot, ND – The Minotauros are proud to announce the signing of Forward Wyatt Witham to a tender for the 2023-2024 season.  Witham is currently a member of the Texas Jr.Brahmas of the NA3HL where he has posted 15 goals and 15 assists through 27 games played.

Witham sees himself as a two-way forward saying, he is both “a skilled forward” and that he “enjoys the physical part of game.”  He was already on the Tauros radar after attending the pre-draft camp in Blaine, MN and earning an invite to Main Camp last summer.

Tauros Head Coach and General Manager Cody Campbell alluded to that relationship as well as Witham’s recent success as being the reason the Tauros offered him a Tender; “we are excited to add Wyatt to our tender group. He is another player that attend a pre-draft camp last summer as well as our main camp and has progressed very nicely as a young player in the NA3HL. Wyatt has a great skill set to go along with very good IQ and has always produced offensively. We look forward to him continuing that trend in Minot next season.”

Being a Minnesota native with no North Dakota ties it was the Tauros reputation played a role in Witham wanting to come to Minot.  He explained, “one of my trainers over the years told me that Minot is one of top junior programs in the county, so when coach Campbell called to tender me it was an easy choice.”
