Minot, ND – The Minotauros return to the Maysa Arena Tuesday night after sweeping the the Minnesota Magicians and moving back into first place.  The Aberdeen Wings will be in Minot to provide the opposition just 10 days after winning a pair of games in the Magic City.  Those games came on the back end of a three games in three nights stretch for the Tauros and fatigue was clearly factor.  Each of the three meetings between the two clubs have been decided by a goal, with each team earning a regulation win and Aberdeen winning the lone shootout on Halloween.

On offense Jared Brandt has lead the Tauros against Aberdeen with a pair of goals and an assist in the three games.  For the Wings Kyle Haak has done the most damage against the Tauros with four assists while Michael Soucier, Bjorn Sigurdarson, and Tanner Okeson each have a pair of goals.  The Tauros attack has been more balanced with six different players recording a goal against Aberdeen; which is reflective of the Tauros offensive production on the year with five players already in double figures and four more sitting on nine points.

As for keeping the puck out of the net, Andrew Shortridge has started all three games against the Tauros posting a .918 sv% and 2.28 GAA.  Meanwhile, two of Tanner Holmes three starts have come against the Wings going 1-0-1 with a .860 sv% and 2.88 GAA; Atte Tolvanen was took a tough luck loss allowing only one goal to Aberdeen and losing 1-0 on November 1st.

The Tauros are coming off of an 11 goal performance last weekend in Minnesota and will look to keep the offense rolling.  The outburst moved the Tauros into eighth in the NAHL in scoring with a 3.22 goals per game, while Aberdeen is ranked 23rd with 2.33.  The Wings are third best in surrendering goals however at just 2.22 goals per game compared to the Tauros fifth best at 2.50.
