Following a split last weekend with the Aberdeen Wings, the Tauros enter play with eight points on the year and an overall record of 4-2-0 and currently slot in at fifth place in the NAHL Central Division. The team below them in the standings are the Bulls, who have struggled to get going this year with a record of 1-6-0 and two points in the early goings.
The Tauros currently have five players who are leading the way with four points this season in Jack O’Hanisain (one goal, three assists); Weston Knox (four assists); Joel Lehtinen (one goal, three assists); Chad Muller (three goals, one assist); and Trevor Stachowiak (four assists).
Muller’s three goals currently leads the team, while Will Dawson is not far behind with two goals thus far. If early signs are an indication of how the upcoming series will go, Minot should have a productive weekend against a North Iowa team that has given up 29 goals through seven games.
