Minot, ND – The Wings sit at the bottom on the Central Division however the Tauros should not expect an easy weekend.  Almost every game between these two clubs has been close, with the two most recent meetings going to shootouts.  Also with the Wings coach Travis Winter making his debut the Wings players will certainly be skating hard despite the teams’ 14 game winless streak.

The Tauros will need to find an answer for Justin Parizek.  The Wings leading scorer has posted three goals and four assists in four games against the Tauros.  Tim Donohue leads the Tauros against the Wings with four goals and two assists including three goals on the power play.

In net Tyler Parks is 3-1-0 against the Wings with a .920 SV% and 2.75 GAA.  Two of Parks’ wins against the Wings have come via the shootout, where he has been especially impressive stopping eight of nine Aberdeen shooters.  Chad Catt will probably get the net for the Wings after he was just acquired via trade from Amarillo.  In his one appearance for the Wings so far Catt allowed three goals on 37 shots against Bismarck.

Player to Watch: Zach Holstrom has a goal and four assists in the last five games, and a goal and an assist in two games against the Wings.
